This video shows the progress made on Cocoa Radio since the last video. The spectrum that is visualized in the waterfall and graph is AFTER the downconversion mixer and FIR filter. As I move the red line (software tuning) around on the display, it changes the tuning of the downconverter, and you can see the spectrum change. Also, when I change the IF bandwidth, you can see the effects of the filtering. There’s still quite a bit of work to be done, but these results are encouraging. – Source

NT1K – RTLSDR W- RTL2832U and E4000 Tuner
Testing out the EzCap EzTV668 that has the RTL2832 and the E4000 Tuner Chip. I think it’s much better that the FC0013 Tuner. However don’t take my word for it. For $20 you can’t complain either way at 00:40 you will hear a conversation on a local repeater (W1TOM 146.940), One of the stations is close by my QTH and with the 2Mhz sampling, you can see both the output of the repeater and the -600khz input from the operator. – Source
Noxon DAB Stick SDR (osmocom rtl-sdr) RTL2832U
First attempts on trying the Noxon DAB Stick at 144.800 MHz APRS with the delivered Antenna (indoors). See more here: sdr.osmocom.org This Stick was designed for listening to DAB only. Under Ubuntu it works for DVB-T and as a SDR with a Bandwidth up to 3.2 MHz. Tuning range could be from 64-1700 MHz (not tested with this NOXON Stick) 73 Oliver DL6KBG – Source
Ultra-cheap SDR: HF with RTL2832 and transverter

Decoding P25 with SDR#, DSD, and RTLSDR
This is decoding P25 with DSD and SDR#. It isn’t the greatest, but I guess it’s a work in progress. You need a very strong signal, and just the correct audio levels and settings. Most of the video is P25 bits and pieces. My audio is not clipping, it’s simply a problem I cannot figure out with stereo mix. – Source
